Lalita
Lalita has been working for studio Nepal for 3 years now as a tailor. She lives together with her parents, who are farmers, and two siblings (a brother and a sister) who are both studying. Next to her work at studio Nepal, Lalita helps out at home too. She likes living together with her family and being able to see them every day, and also to cook and eat all together.
“I think reading is my favorite thing to do outside of working as a tailor in the factory. The stories told in books can be really interesting and so I learn a lot from reading books. I want to partially contribute financially to my brother and sister’s studies.”
